This week it was discovered that the Ministry of Finance and Budget Office had pulled the 2012 Budget Proposal from the internet, thereby restricting public access to these documents.  In the interest of public accountability, we have created a full archive of these documents under our Primary Resources section.  Please feel free to read through the library of these documents and help us track down waste and inflation.

Assalam Thank ur sir, the truth of public financial management is always hidden from Nigerian citizens and this is not good for accountability in governance. My concern is in respect of states and local government financial systems, particularly in the northern states which i come from and our governors should fear God and they will account for all their deeds in the day of judgement.
May Allah (SWA) reward you and hope that our northern governors would emulate our founding fathers to build our states (Northern) to be independent. Our northern leaders should also please embrace a simple life in accordance with our founding fathers from the region (Alhaji (Sir) Ahmadu Bello, (Our Humbly Prime Minister) -Alhaji Abubakar Tafawa Belewa, Late Makama Bida, Alh. Hamman Pategi- All of Blessed Memory and May their Soul Rest in Peace, Amin. Ma asalam.
